AKC Standard Poodle Breeders have obligated themselves to keep the pure Champion bloodlines going and to help in improving the breed according to AKC's breed Standards. AKC Standard Poodle Breeders test their bloodlines to make sure hereditary problems will not occur and if they do then they make sure that the problems are solved in the breeding program.
